General Terms and Conditions
Effective: September 9, 2026
Terms and conditions for using the VWIDCheck online vehicle documentation analysis service and the ev.joker AI chat.
Service Provider
GFDMM Kft. — 6500 Baja, Petőfi Sándor u. 36., Hungary. Company registration number: 03-09-137502. Tax number: 32307045-1-03. E-mail: [email protected]. Telephone: +36 70 303 4868.
Scope and eligibility
These General Terms and Conditions apply to the VWIDCheck service available at vwidcheck.com and its supplementary services. The customer may be a consumer or a business; rights expressly granted to consumers only apply to a natural person acting outside their independent occupation and economic activity. The customer declares that they are the vehicle owner or are authorized to request and process the service data.
The ev.joker AI chat
ev.joker is currently a free beta information service for owners, buyers and sellers of VAG electric cars. The answers combine verified knowledge, deterministic safety rules and AI processing. The chat is not a technical diagnosis, inspection, repair instruction, warranty position or emergency service. In the event of a red warning light, smoke, fire, a burning smell, a damaged battery housing, brake or steering failure, or loss of drive, the user must follow the safety instructions and call an appropriate roadside assistance or specialist service. Do not enter a full VIN, contact details or other personal or confidential data in the chat. The beta features and availability may change.
Supported vehicles and service history
Service documentation analysis is available for Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda, SEAT and CUPRA vehicles, regardless of whether they have petrol, diesel, hybrid or electric powertrains. Availability depends on an electronic service entry and the related document being accessible and processable from the manufacturer’s system. We check this before payment. If no analyzable entry is found, payment is not initiated. A technical error in the manufacturer’s system does not prove that the service book is missing; the check can be retried later. The report interprets only the available documentation; the absence of history does not prove that maintenance was not carried out.
The service and prices
The basic service, with a total price of 9,99 EUR, includes retrieving, structuring and presenting an easily understandable analysis of the service documentation available for the VIN. As an optional supplement, the original factory vehicle data sheet for supported VAG makes and an interpreted summary of it may be selected: additional 9,99 EUR with processing within 24 hours, or additional 19,99 EUR with expedited processing within 60 minutes. When ordered together, the total prices are 9,99 EUR, 19,98 EUR or 29,98 EUR, respectively. The supplement may also be ordered later for a completed basic report for 9,99 or 19,99 EUR, but not without a basic report. The displayed amount is the total amount payable; payment is made in euros. The service fee is charged for the analysis and convenient document retrieval, not for the sale of manufacturer data.
Technical ordering steps and the automatic account
The customer enters and verifies the 17-character VIN and e-mail address, selects the report language and optional package, indicates whether an invoice is required, and accepts the eligibility, General Terms and Conditions/privacy and immediate-performance declarations. After clicking the “Place order with payment obligation” button, the system automatically creates an account for the provided e-mail address, or links the order to the existing account, and then checks the available electronic service history. If processable documents are available, the customer is directed to Stripe for payment. For a new account, the automatically generated password is sent immediately by e-mail; the password of an existing account does not change. The account is created so that the completed service documentation analysis or vehicle data sheet can be reopened and downloaded at any time, even if the e-mail does not arrive or is later lost.
Formation of the contract, payment obligation and reminders
Entering the e-mail address and VIN, accepting the mandatory declarations, and clicking the “Place order with payment obligation” button constitute the customer’s conclusive conduct: they mean that the order has been submitted and a payment obligation undertaken. The contract is formed when the Service Provider electronically records this order. Paid performance of the service begins only after successful verification of Stripe’s payment confirmation. If payment is not completed, we send a reminder after one hour and then daily. The customer may continue the process using the “Continue payment” button in the order list of the account, or stop the order and further reminders using the “Thank you, I no longer want it” action in the e-mail. The Service Provider records the order, the times of acceptance, reminders and stopping, the payment and the performance status electronically; the contract is not considered a written contract and is not filed as an individual contract text, but the current General Terms and Conditions can be saved and the order details are available in the account.
Payment, invoice and receipt
Card payments and other payment methods offered by Stripe are processed by Stripe; the service provider does not receive the full card details. The e-mail address provided with the order is pre-filled in the Stripe payment form. If the customer selects “I request an invoice”, Stripe also requests the billing name or company name, the billing address and the optional tax number, and the service provider issues and sends an electronic invoice through BillX. If the customer does not request an invoice, no company or billing details are requested, and a receipt is issued for the purchase; until the BillX receipt API becomes available, the transaction required to issue the receipt is kept in a prepared state by the system. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided. The customer’s bank may apply currency-conversion or other fees.
Performance and access
Processing of the basic report starts automatically after successful payment authentication and completion of the mandatory declarations, regardless of the selected deadline for the vehicle data sheet. The completed report, analysis PDF, original source documents and ZIP package are available in the user account; the ZIP can also be sent from the account to the e-mail address provided. In the event of a subsequent supplement, the completed service data is not retrieved again. The 24-hour and expedited 60-minute vehicle data sheet deadlines are calculated from confirmation of successful payment. The Volkswagen vehicle data sheet is prepared through the existing processing workflow. For another supported make, the order is first prepared manually and the administrator receives a separate notification; automatic processing can only begin after the workflow for that make has been introduced. External manufacturer, Stripe, network or other unavoidable system errors may cause delays; this does not affect the customer’s mandatory statutory claims.
Consumer withdrawal and termination
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the distance service contract without giving reasons within 14 days of its conclusion, and, after performance has begun, the right to terminate it. When placing the order, the consumer expressly requests that performance begin immediately, before the 14-day period expires, and acknowledges that they lose this right once the service has been fully performed. In the event of termination before completion of performance, the fee for the service already performed proportionately may be charged. The declaration may be sent to [email protected] or submitted in another clear form. Template: “To: GFDMM Kft., 6500 Baja, Petőfi Sándor u. 36., [email protected]. I, the undersigned, hereby declare that I withdraw from/terminate the contract concerning the following service: [order ID, VIN], date of conclusion of the contract, consumer’s name and address, date.”
Contractual performance and legal remedies
The service provider is required to provide a digital result that complies with the contract and the mandatory statutory provisions. In the event of defective, incomplete or inaccessible performance, the customer may request that the defect be remedied or performance restored free of charge within a reasonable period and, subject to the statutory conditions, may exercise the right to a proportionate price reduction, terminate the contract, request a refund or assert a claim for damages. These rights are not restricted by the liability provisions of the General Terms and Conditions.
Data sources, AI and professional limitations
The report organizes and explains the content of the documents retrieved, using partly automated and AI-assisted processing. It does not constitute an official vehicle-history certificate, technical inspection, diagnostic assessment, or legal or warranty advice. It does not establish the validity of a factory, battery or mobility warranty, a battery SOH value, the actual technical condition or the completion of an undocumented campaign. A missing entry does not prove that the work was not carried out. Before making a purchase or repair decision, it is advisable to have the documents checked by an authorized service center and an appropriately qualified professional. The service provider is independent and is not affiliated with Volkswagen AG.
Account, delivery and sharing
The customer acknowledges that an account providing lasting access to the documents is automatically created using the e-mail address provided. The customer is required to protect their account, the automatically generated password received by e-mail, their confidential report link, sharing link and PIN. The completed service-document analysis, vehicle data sheet and related files can be downloaded again from the account at any time. The account holder is responsible for the ZIP recipient provided and for forwarding the link/PIN. PIN-protected sharing is voluntary and can be disabled at any time; disabling it or changing the PIN invalidates previous access. Archiving the report in the account only hides it from the list: it does not delete it and does not automatically disable sharing. Any suspected unauthorized access must be reported without delay.
Liability and availability
The service provider acts with the reasonably expected level of care, but is not liable for an incorrectly provided VIN or data, data that was already missing or inaccurate in the source system, or consequences arising from disregarding verification warnings. Outside the scope permitted by mandatory statutory provisions, no liability may be excluded or limited; in particular, this does not affect liability for damage caused to life, physical integrity or health, intentional damage, or infringement of consumer rights. Maintenance or an error by an external service provider may cause temporary unavailability.
Complaints and conciliation
A complaint may be submitted at [email protected], by telephone or at the service provider’s postal address; it is advisable to provide the name, order ID or VIN, a description of the complaint and the requested action. The service provider will respond to a written complaint within 30 days, in a verifiable manner and with reasons. After unsuccessful discussions, the consumer may apply to a conciliation board. The board with jurisdiction according to the service provider’s registered office is: Csongrád-Csanád County Conciliation Board, 6721 Szeged, Párizsi krt. 8–12., [email protected], +36 62 549 392, bekeltetes-csongrad.hu. The consumer may also choose the board with jurisdiction according to their place of residence or stay, or apply to the consumer-protection authority or a court. The service provider cooperates in the conciliation-board proceedings.
Governing law and amendments
The contract is governed by Hungarian law, without depriving the consumer of the mandatory protective provisions of the law of the state in which they habitually reside. Amendments to these General Terms and Conditions do not change the content of contracts already concluded to the customer’s disadvantage; the version in force at the time of acceptance applies to the relevant order. Partial invalidity does not affect the remaining provisions.
